A certified credential evaluation is a report generated by a licensed professional. It takes many things into account such as the degree, the course, and the grade received. Many United States Universities and employers require a foreign degree evaluation before entering the institution.

Common uses for credential evaluation include: U.S. Immigration (USCIS acceptance), high school and university application and enrollment, passport office usage, legal and many other local, state, and Federal government official uses.

• Order a credential evaluation of your documents through our website.
• Our support staff will assign your order to our staff of evaluators.
• Once the evaluation is complete it will be reviewed for formatting, spelling, grammar, etc. by our support staff.
• Your evaluation will be sent to you for approval. You can request a revision or approve the evaluation.
• Once approved we will mail you the finalized copy of your evaluation and the tracking number of your documents.

• Your information is transmitted through 128-bit SSL encryption, which is the highest level of security available.
• Your credit card information is never stored with us. It is only handled in a PCI compliant environment by our processing partner Braintree (a PayPal company).
• We will never share your files or personal information with anyone outside of USCES.org. Files are visible only to the professionals who have signed strict confidentiality agreements and only while evaluations are in progress.

USCES is a widely accepted credential evaluator. However, it is always best to check with the institution you are submitting the evaluation to.

It is your responsibility to ensure our evaluation will meet their requirements. If you aren't sure, contact us with a list of their requirements and we can review with you.

USCIS is an exception as we handle lots of evaluation that are submitted to them and know their requirements very well. We offer a USCIS Acceptance Guarantee. Further details on these policies can be found on our Policies page.

We are a corporate member of NAFSA.

We offer notarization as an option on all certified evaluation orders. Notarization includes a wet ink signature from a representative of our company and the Indiana Notary Public along with an ink stamp from the notary with their commission number and commission expiration date.

Diploma evaluations are routinely for USCIS and employers.

Course by course evaluation is for entrance into Universities or other schools. Contact us for details.

For a credential evaluation, the cost depends on the amount of degrees. submitted. Our cost is $85.00 for diploma evaluations and $149 for course-by-course. Request a quote.

Our evaluators come from a wide range of backgrounds with over 20 years combined experience in higher education. They undergo rigorous testing and background checks in order to be a credential evaluator.

Many carry a variety of accreditations and certifications, but this varies per evaluator as there is no worldwide accreditation or certification for evaluators in existence.

Your evaluation will come in on average 4-8 pages depending on the service you ordered.

• Are on company letterhead containing our license member number, phone number and address.
• Include the order number and page number on each page.
• Include your US GPA and course equivalents
• For diplomas, it will have your degree completed, and the school you attended, and explain the United States degree equivalence.
• For Course by Course, it will include your course hours, GPA, and course title.

After checkout you will be redirected to your order status page. There you will find a notes field where you can add any notes you'd like our staff to have

We cannot fill out any forms for you - this includes forms that you are submitting as well as forms required to accompany your submission.

You can check the status of your order anytime by contacting us

• New: Your order has been received and will be reviewed and assigned to your evaluator shortly.
• Assigned: Your order has been assigned to your evaluator and he/she will accept and begin work shortly.
• In Progress: Your evaluator has accepted the order and is currently translating your documents.
• In Review: Your evaluator has finished the translation and it is being reviewed by our support staff for formatting, spelling, grammar, etc.
• Client Review: We have sent you the evaluation to approve or request a revision before we finalize it.
• In Revision: You requested a revision and we have sent your evaluation back to your evaluator to review and complete the revision.
• Approved: You have approved your evaluator and we will be finalizing and completing it shortly.
• Completed: Your order has been finalized and sent to you.
• On Hold: Your order can be on hold for multiple reasons such as incorrect number of pages selected, illegible documents uploaded, etc. We will email you the reason and be waiting for your response before your order can resume.

We will do everything possible to accommodate your modification request, but these will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Orders can only be canceled when the order status is New. Once your order is assigned to a translator it can no longer be canceled.
